Cities and organizations all across the province are busy planning for BC Youth Week 2025! Please reach out to us or to people in your City to find out what is going on! We will be updating the website with all the details as the information becomes available.

Time: Opening Event on May 1st 6-7PM, open during library hours for the rest of the run

Location: Qualicum Beach Library, 660 Primrose Street, Qualicum Beach.

Details: A youth arts exhibition and community connections project created by visual artist and community connector Diane Moran.

 This single-day tournament is FREE to enter, and the emphasis will be on having fun, building friendships, and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship. All levels are welcome. This tournament is intended for youth ages 11-15.
Youth are asked to register with their team of three (four players if including a sub) by Friday, April 25th. Players enjoy FREE pizza, cookies, and prizes!

 This tournament is made possible by the support of the Regional District of Nanaimo, Coombs Old Country Market, Arrowsmith Agricultural Association, and Natural Glacier Waters Inc.

 LINC Youth Centre will be hosting an Outdoor Dodgeball Tournament for Comox Valley Youth on Thursday May 1st from 4-8pm. 4 teams in this tournament composed of youth aged 14-18

More details to follow! 

The LINC will also be using offering snacks, music, and 2 for 1 drop-in at the centre on this day as well if you have youth who may not be specifically interested in participating in the tournament but still wish to use or facility or participate as spectators/support.

This recreational program will give players a chance to get in a fun workout playing ball hockey. All levels of skill are welcome to attend. There will be no slap shots or hitting, and our supervisor will encourage fair play and equal playing time. Regular hockey sticks are permitted. Helmets, gloves, and athletic cups are recommended.

Whether you’re crafting solo or teaming up on a project, this is your space to relax, connect, and express yourself.

Details: You can choose to walk, jog, or run through our 1K or 5K route. This is not a timed race—it's all about having fun, being active, and creating unforgettable memories! After the race, join us at the splash park for the colourful after-party full of refreshments, snacks, music, and more. We’ll be splashing colour everywhere, so please come dressed to impress in a white T-shirt and your favourite sunglasses. The dye is non-toxic but may stain some clothing, so dress accordingly. We can’t wait to see you for a morning filled with colour, laughter, joy, and community connection as we celebrate Youth Week!
